Note to Self

I think that at least three times I said to the mom something about her four children, and she would have to remind me "Five. Paula, we have five children." :) And beautiful children too. The smiles were never ending. I hope you enjoy your peek!

Family

I had a great time in the Valley on my family shoots, and I will be back up towards the middle of August when I will be booking 3-4 more sessions.

It was a treat to see this family again. Thank you for letting me take your children (ahem... young adults! Wow have they ever grown up!), and take pictures of them.
It felt like old times as I sat and chatted with the mom before the shoot. Her kids were amazing! They cooperated so well, and just followed along with what I suggested. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek...

Many Hands to Love Her

What a lucky little girl. She comes as the youngest of four with three brothers who can't get enough of her. When I arrived they were all wanting to get a chance to hold her. They are definitely going to be there to protect this little one. Thank you for inviting me into your home and giving me the opportunity to capture memories made.

The Moment Has Come

You wait all of your life to meet the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. That moment came last Saturday for these two with looks spoken with love. Congratulations on your wedding, and the beginning of your journey together.

Together

This little bundle of joy barely made it to the photo shoot still in mom's tummy! Today I finished editing; yesterday I was at their house taking her newborn pictures! She was five weeks early!

Thank you Rachel

I have been playing with my blog, and with your help, I have both added my header, as well as learned how to post larger pictures. I will keep trying to learn how to add to the elements of my blog with the information you provided me with.
Many thanks!

I have two of the best sisters in the world. This is my younger sister's family. Got you!

My Chicklets

I love this last picture of them. We went out with Lori to take pictures, and I asked them to sit in the dandilions. They just did their own thing and I shot away. It's so much easier than trying to get them to pose for a photo. The picture of Ravessa dancing at the top I do want to do again. I want to shoot it using my tripod and see what the results will be like. I want this one for me. It reminds me of the song "I hope you dance."

We will miss you Loriella ;)

For the past two years we had Lori live with us as she attended a local high school. Lori is from Albania and is my husband's cousin. She is now an adult, having turned 18 in June. She is Ravessa's best friend and a big sister to both her and Dalin. She added a place in our hearts and has taken a little piece of us with her home.
It was a new experience walking into the land of teenagerdom, but if my children turn out anything like her, then we will be blessed. She is polite, courteous, and willing to do anything asked of her. She is confident, caring, and a person of character.
Lori brought with her laughter, fun dancing in the living room, quirky interpretations on the world, and a little teenage attitude. To see her leave was sad. She will be missed.
We love you Lori.

Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister. ~Alice Walker
