Beautiful eyes, heartwarming smiles-what a charming family. It was a lovely sunny evening to spend outside.

I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful.

This little sweetie is definitely surrounded by love in her house; she is blessed to have such wonderful parents, and they her. She hardly made a peep the entire time we were shooting. She is going to offer her parents a lifetime of memories from first steps, training wheels, graduation, and more. Thank you for inviting me into your home to capture the beginning...

4H Fantastic

I volunteer for the local Horse 4H taking their pictures at Achievment Day. It is a fantastic event planned out with activities, showing, and laughter. They have a great club that offers excellent learning opportunities for its members. It really brings back memories of when I was younger and participated in horse 4H. If you have a chance, you should check out their musical ride. It was incredible.

Boys will be Boys!

It was a lot of fun to go on a shoot with these boys. Their mom, a fellow photographer, treated my sister and I to a night of fun, yummy eats and delicious drinks. She was also completely understanding when I asked to go and shoot pictures of the boys by myself. It is amazing how much teenagers will relax when their parents aren't around looking for the perfect smile. They were completely cooperative, and even added to the creativity incorporating what they wanted in the photos.
I wanted to capture them in their surroundings with something that had meaning to only these boys. The shot on the road of all three is one of my favorite.

And Baby Brother Makes Three

I have had the pleasure of knowing this family for two years; my children have played with theirs, and I have also created a life long friendship with the mother of Elias. It was tons of fun shooting this for them.
Elias is the proud brother of two older sisters. He is adorable, content, and so darn cute! They have many years of happy memories to create ahead of them. Congratulations!

Randyn

It was such a joy to do a photo session with a brand new baby. This is definitely an area I want to be taking my photography! Randyn was a doll. He was so content and let me do pretty much anything.

We had joy, we had fun... we had seasons in the Sun...

This weekend we lay my grandma to rest. She was burried between my grandfather and my uncle Danny. It was nice to see that there were still people in the neighborhood that cared about my grandma. She made a great impression on oth ers. We haven't lived there since 1981. We attended a tea in grandma's memory. She would have loved the conversation, the laughter, and the stories shared; there was history there to be made and to be shared.
Rob read a piece he wrote about grandma at her service. It was beautiful and well put together. Grandma would have been proud of it. It warms my heart to think that grandma is now with Vance, grandpa, and uncle Danny. I am ready to move on. I've said my goodbyes; now it is time to focus on my family, and again my photography.
